I have been pretty MIA for the last couple of months. I went on a trip to Hong Kong and Tokyo, Japan back in November and have a lot of footage to cut and edit. With work, it's just been incredibly hard to keep up with and I'm super sorry! But I promise that collection of vlogs will be coming by summer - or that's the hope!
And since last post, I have been settling in with organizing my new house and just trying to get life organized. But I had some time to sit down, and make this Gundam-RX-78-2 model that I got in Japan in November for about 1800 yen ($~23 CAD). It was definitely an interesting first gundam to make as all the pieces were small and so were the 50 million stickers. Who knew I'd need all my crafting gear and tweezers for this project!
But I took out all the pieces and it did look pretty overwhelming, with their palettes of plastic labelled from A to H. Regardless, this took me about 2 days to make. It even came with a tiny person that was required to be painted. We can definitely say, this guy was not painted, and probably never will be. There was so much detail in this small model - it averaged in height about 6" maximum from head to toe.
