We shopped and ate... A LOT | Japan Vlog Part 2

This has been such a long time coming. Sorry for the wait! We went to Japan over New Year's - the trip itself was a fun ordeal to get there, as we had initially planned to leave on Christmas Eve, and our flight was cancelled due to Vancouver's snow storms. We ended up moving our entire trip and flight out to Japan on New Year's Eve instead and arrived in Japan on New Year's Eve.

It took quite a bit of time to compile all the footage and edit everything. It too me much longer than I had thought it would - based on me being quite exhausted from just being - surprise - pregnant. But I'm excited to finally share a bit of what we did on our official honeymoon.

The 2nd installment of our Japan trip at the beginning of the year! Because we were in Japan for New Year's, that meant we were also there in time for fukubukuro shopping - ie. lucky bag shopping, which is always a bit of a mixed bag. They tend to fill the bags with leftover unsellable items throughout the year, but there's usually quite a good mix of items in the bags that are well worth beyond what they're selling them for. After a hard day of shopping, we ended the night with a very nice kaiseki meal at Hana Sendai filled with local eats.
