The 6th installment of our Japan trip at the beginning of the year!
We left Tokyo early and headed to Osaka via shinkansen. Had breakfast from a bakery in the train station that we grabbed and ate on the train. We went to the hotel and dropped our stuff off, and went to Den Den Town to have some street eats.
The next day, we went to Shinsaibashi for fluffy pancakes, which happened to be in America-mura and Dotonbori for the sight seeing and some more fukubukuro shopping. Honestly was too bad we were full off of pancakes, cuz eating Dotonbori would've been smarter.
The next morning we headed to Kyoto, had breakfast at the train station with some kaiten-sushi - which was probably the best sushi we had in Japan on this trip this time. And from there, headed off to take multiple trains to get to Kifune Shrine, which was a bit of a hike in the midst of the rain. We went to another shoutengai in Kyoto, an Ichiran - because we couldn't decide what we wanted to eat, and cuz it was a bit chilly from the rain, and ended the night with some pretty desserts back at the hotel.
