The 3rd installment of our Japan trip at the beginning of the year! :)
We decided to go to Matsushima Bay, not far from Sendai, about a 30-45 minute train ride away, where we went on some walking fun, a lot of walking, to Entsuin and Zuiganji Temple. We ate lots of oysters - and learned to すみません pretty quickly.
The next day, we spent a chill day in Sendai, took it easy. We ended up at a Yodobashi Camera to kill time, but we ended up getting some really nice photos taken of us free of charge - some new years promotion they were having during the day. Afterwards, we headed to Hanyu Yuzur's home rink - Ice Rink Sendai for their public skate, and learned how terrible rental skates in Japan are. And we ended the night with some gyutan - a Sendai specialty.
